Sustainable Skincare
As a teenager, Jackie Rogers dreamt of creating her own skincare line. Now she is the founder and formulator of House of HILT—a Sarasota-based brand of sustainable, plant-based, toxin-free products.
“My favorite part of what I do is helping women and men get their skin looking healthy and radiant,” Rogers says. “When I read the reviews or listen to someone’s journey back to healthy skin, I’m overwhelmed by the love they have for the product. I never tire of hearing the great successes our customers are having using our products.”
Rogers spent years in the fashion, beauty, and marketing industries, and she worked with aestheticians and chemists before launching House of HILT in 2020. HILT is an acronym for Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty, and Trust.
“House of HILT was born out of the need for offering a truly clean and luxurious option for skincare,” Rogers says. “I wanted to make an amazing product that was not only effective but also looked and felt luxurious. We are passionate about what we do to provide people with truly clean, effective skincare.”
Each product is infused with a proprietary, medicinal-grade, botanical tincture that is designed to stimulate, oxygenate, and nourish the skin. And House of HILT launched a plant-based, reef-safe SPF 30 sunscreen to rave reviews over the summer. The company has grown so significantly since its launch that products are now being distributed throughout the country. Still, the company maintains a customized, personalized approach, making sure all clients have access to skincare that fully matches their individual needs.
“Because skincare and understanding ingredients can sometimes be overwhelming, we offer free consultations to customers with our in-house aesthetician, Jenny,” Rogers says. ”It’s our passion to help people, and we love to get people on the path to having healthy skin. In my experience, when you look good, you feel good.”
House of HILT’s most popular products include Amber Primrose Facial Oil (with 25% lipophilic vitamin C for dark spots and hyperpigmentation); Firming Peptide Serum (with four kinds of peptides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide to soften lines and wrinkles); and Cherry Plum Peel (which tightens and brightens with fruit acids).
“Education is also a very big part of what we do. We do trade shows and wellness seminars regularly to help people understand that what you put on your skin is absorbed into your system within seconds,” Rogers says. “Products that contain microplastics and toxic ingredients will disrupt your endocrine system, wreaking havoc on your skin and your overall health. I am all about supporting people looking to be their best selves.”
