1 Community 1 Team is a new kid on the block when it comes to nonprofit organizations in Sarasota that address issues such as hunger and food insecurity, but they have managed to make a big impact in a small amount of time. The vision of 1 Community 1 Team is to support other nonprofits. The beauty of an organization like this (funded by a company that wishes nothing more than to give back to their community) is that they are able to be flexible and fluid, they can provide volunteers, they can fulfill wish lists, they can mount large-scale “Move that bus!” kind of video productions that serve not only to celebrate a cause but also to champion it. 1 Community 1 Team has worked with The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Mothers Helping Mothers, and Easterseals, to name but a few.

Give — Your Perspective: 1 Community 1 Team recognizes heroes within our community such as first responders, active-duty military, veterans, or community organizations. They need you to tell them whom to recognize, and whom to support.
