- 2 tablespoons loose leaf green tea
- ¼ cup crushed fresh mint leaves
- 32 ounces cool filtered water
- 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- ¼ cup whole milk or almond milk
- 2 tablespoons raw unfiltered honey
Preparation
Place tea leaves and mint leaves in water and cover. Steep in the refrigerator for 2–12 hours. Strain leaves, reserving ½ of the mint leaves. Transfer tea and reserved mint leaves to a blender. Add cocoa powder, milk, and honey (you can mix it in a little warm water to form a syrup), and blend until well combined. Serve over ice garnished with mint leaves. (Shake stored tea well before serving.)
