White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (soft)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup white chocolate chips
  • ¾ macadamia nuts (roughly chopped)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, add flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt. Whisk to combine. Set aside.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, add butter and sugars. Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy, 3—4 minutes. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix together on low until fully combined.
Next, add white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. Add dry ingredients to mixing bowl. Stir until it comes together and there isn’t any white left. Be careful not to over mix.
Form cookies by using a large cookie scoop and place them onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. (Cookies will spread when baked, so space generously.) Chill for at least 30 minutes.
    Bake for 15—16 minutes.
