
Tomahawk
Cook bacon, then pull it out of pan and set aside. Add butter to bacon fat and use it to baste tomahawk steak.
Ingredients
- 1 pack of bacon, to yield ½ cup bacon fat
- ½ cup butter
- 3 pound tomahawk steak
- Salt and pepper
For the herb brush
- 1 bunch parsley
- ½ bunch thyme
- ½ bunch tarragon
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- 2 garlic cloves, to addd to butter and bacon fat
Instructions
- Form herbs into a brush. Dip herb brush in butter and bacon mixture and baste the steak. Cook for 30 minutes or pull it at internal temperature at 135°F and let rest for 10 minutes.
