Lizzie's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have been eating these delightful cookies for 30+ years. When I make them myself, they’re great—but never as wonderful as when they are made by my BFF Lizzie. Hers taste the best!!! Must be the love!

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks 365-brand organic butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, tightly packed
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups 365-brand organic Quick Cooking Oats
  • 12 ounces 365-brand Dark Chocolate Baking Chunks

Instructions

  • Cream the butter in the bowl of an electric mixer and gradually add the sugars. When fully incorporated and smooth, add the eggs 1 at a time and beat for 1 minute after each addition. Combine dry ingredients including chocolate chips and stir in by hand. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using a small scoop, space the dough 3 inches apart on a baking sheet and bake cookies, checking for doneness after 12 minutes. Cool and enjoy!
