
Cucumbers with Smoked Salmon and Caviar
There are many different and reasonably priced American caviars so don’t be intimidated by this famously luxurious ingredient—or you can omit it altogether if you don’t love it!
Ingredients
- 1 European cucumber, sliced into rounds
- 1 (8-ounce) container crème fraiche
- 8 ounces smoke salmon
- 1 ounce caviar
- for garnish: 1 bunch fresh chives and/or dill, snipped into 2-inch lengths
Instructions
- Arrange the cucumber rounds on a platter and top each with about a teaspoon of crème fraiche. Top half of the rounds with a small dollop of caviar and half with a small rolled up piece of smoked salmon. Top each with either 2 chives or a decorative piece of dill and serve chilled.
