About the Artist: Kelly Kearns is a Sarasota-based artist whose vibrant, dynamic acrylic paintings celebrate the color, charm, and character of Sarasota and Florida’s Gulf Coast. After a successful career as a professional photographer, she turned her creative focus to painting, describing it as “architectural pop art” and bringing a keen eye towards lively composition, and color. Her newly refurbished studio is located in beautiful Downtown Sarasota. Recently selected to be an Artist in Residence at Art Ovation Hotel, Kelly has launched a new series, Contemporary Botanicals, inspired by nature, design, and abundance. Kelly is a board member and volunteer for the Sarasota Farmers Market and also a volunteer for Second Heart Homes. Please stop by the Downtown Sarasota studio at 1369 Main St. to see what’s new.
