Ingredients

- ½ small jalapeno, chopped
- ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped, stems included
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 2 tablespoons jalapeno vinegar, from canned jalapenos
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup canola oil
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
1. Combine jalapeño, cilantro, onion, garlic, vinegar, lime juice, mustard, and egg yolk in a blender. Blend until puréed. While blender is running, add oil in a thin stream. Season to taste with salt.
