Ah, crêpes. Just the word conjures up romantic images of strolling through Paris, snacking on a lacy-thin pancake folded up with chocolate and fresh fruit. Or perhaps sitting at a sidewalk café, dining on a delicate rolled crêpe, oozing with a rich, creamy sauce. Ooh la la. Fortunately, one need not travel to the City of Love to be romanced by these versatile delicacies. In fact, you might just fall head over heels for making them à la maison (at home)! Armed with a simple, basic crêpe recipe, and both sweet and savory filling ideas, all you need is a perfectly hot pan and a bit of practice to master the skill of making these French-style pancakes in your own kitchen (you should be getting the hang of it by the third one!)
